Mandira Bedi is an Indian Bollywood and television actress who is popularly known for playing the lead character in the television serial Shanti(1994) aired on Doordarshan.

The actress was born on April 15, 1970 in Mumbai. Her schooling is from Cathedral and John Connon School. On 14 February 1999 she got married to director Raj Kaushal and is presently staying in the Mumbai suburb of Bandra.
Mandira's Career:
After making her mark in telivision serials like Shanti, she appeared in a supporting role in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge(1995).Mandira also played a negative role in one of the most famous daily soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
Mandira has anchored talent shows like Fame Gurukul, Deal Ya No Deal and Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star aired on star plus. In the 2007 Cricket World Cup group stages, Mandira created a stir in Bangladesh because she crticized their national cricket after it lost to India.
Mandira has been the cover girl for Maxim India Magazine. In a cricket based movie Meera Bai Not Out(2008), she played the lead character of Meera Achrekar. Some of her movies are: Shaadi Ka Laddoo (2004), Manmadhan (2004), Naam Gum Jaayega (2005), Divorce: Not Between Husband and Wife (2005).
